Message Your VTC could be leaking but not likely. The most likely candidate for leaks are the half moons located in the rear of the exhaust valve covers (the lowest valve covers). These valve covers have to rubber half moon grommets that fit in the rear and seal the rear of the valve cover to the head. These half moons get harder over time and have a tendancy to leak oil as they don't expand and contract like they used to. When/if you pull the covers prepare to re-RTV (ie, re-gasket) the valve cover as well. Black or red RTV's work well. It will be 8 10mm bolts per valve cover and you will need to pull the upper intake to accomplish this.

Also, inspect your PCV hoses at this time. PCV hoses are rubber and get hard and also can leak oil on occasion as well.

If you hunt down the culprit, check out some of the site sponsors for OEM replacements (ei, ConceptZperformance, etc).

Good luck.
